Medical assistance is provided by the Verkhnedvinsk central regional hospital, the Osveya regional hospital, two district hospitals, two ambulance stations, one nurse care hospital and 18 feldsher-midwife stations.
Some 45 doctors work in the region including 28 university and college-degree specialists and 203 paramedical workers.
All operations performed by the registration office of the regional out-patient hospital were computerised to cut the lines. Besides, the hospital can receive 250 patients a day. Patients may also make an appointment beforehand by phone.
Ultrasonic scanning and X-ray equipment helps doctors of the hospital diagnose pathologies and provide necessary aid.
