There are five industrial companies in the region including two involved in processing agricultural products. Verkhnedvinsk Cheese and Butter Making Plant accounts for 54.9% of the region’s total industrial output. The company manufactures more than 40 types of milk products completely satisfying the needs both of the town and the region. Verkhnedvinsk Cheese and Butter Making Plant has its own trademark. Some 940 people work in the industrial sector. The financial situation is stable.
