Lukashenko: We have developed very good relations with Pakistan, and we will always support them
Belarus and Pakistan must implement the agreements reached. This was stated by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on April 11 during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, in a narrow composition, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
Welcoming the distinguished guest, the head of state noted that Shehbaz Sharif, even as a child, visited the Belarusian capital together with his father. "I hope this city has become dear to you, just like our Belarus," said Alexander Lukashenko.
The President pointed out that he had held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan the previous day, which lasted about three hours. They discussed many issues on the international agenda and developments surrounding the two countries, as well as the prospects for bilateral relations. "We have developed very friendly relations. Relations, as you correctly said, Mr. Prime Minister, are familial. Therefore, we will always support this level of relations, and I am confident that after this visit, we have no right not to implement our agreements," emphasized the Belarusian leader.
