The session of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly as a constitutional body was held for the first time on April 24, BELTA reports.
During the event, the first four decisions were adopted – on the election of the Chairman of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, his deputy, and the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, as well as on the approval of the temporary regulations of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko has been elected Chairman of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly .
Alexander Nikolaevich Kosinets has been elected Deputy Chairman of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly.
The following members have been elected to the Presidium:
