Belarus is interested in Uzbekistan's experience in organizing and conducting electoral campaigns. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

The current visit of the parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan to Minsk takes place after important domestic political events held there - the constitutional referendum and early presidential elections. "Well done. Carefully. There were some glitches beforehand, but you reacted in time and beautifully (I told Shavkat Mirziyoyev about this). The people are not upset with you. Our observers were there and saw that everything was done properly," said the Belarusian leader. "You have done well in this regard. This is important to us because we are also improving our basic law and election legislation."

The President explained that Belarus will also soon hold elections, a unified voting day, and form not only the chambers of parliament but also the highest representative body of popular sovereignty - the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. In this context, the recent experience of Uzbekistan is of interest to the country. "Your advice on what to pay attention to in the current situation is very important for us," said the head of state.
