Lukashenko signed the law on the people's militia
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the law "On the People's Militia," BelTA reported in the press service of the head of state.
The document establishes the legal basis for the voluntary participation of citizens in ensuring martial law introduced in administrative-territorial (territorial) units of the republic, as well as additional conditions for assisting territorial bodies of internal affairs in the exercise of their powers and protecting property of all forms of ownership from criminal and other encroachments.
