Alexander Subbotin to graduating cadets: you have a strategic advantage over other young people

58 graduates gathered in the courtyard of the Vitebsk Cadet School to bid farewell to the flag of their educational institution at a solemn ceremony. "Among these students are two gold medalists, two winners of the final stage of the republican olympiad in academic subjects, and many other outstanding children who have won numerous diplomas and taken first places in creative, military-sports, and sports competitions. These young people are true patriots of our country, ready to defend it, and they form a good, strong, and close-knit family," said the school's director, Colonel Oleg Demidov. He added that the students have also learned self-confidence and belief in their own abilities.
Cadet school students traditionally choose professions related to serving the Motherland. More than 80% of this year's graduates will enroll in educational institutions of the state's national security system.
Vitebsk cadets traditionally demonstrate themselves as outstanding students and determined young people who consciously choose their future profession and begin to learn the basics of military service already from the eighth grade. Representatives of various law enforcement agencies came to the holiday to give advice to the future defenders of the Fatherland and present awards to those who excelled in their studies.
"The Vitebsk Cadet School is considered one of the best in the system of cadet education in our country. A powerful intellectual potential of future defenders of the Fatherland is being formed here. The Last Bell celebration is another milestone and a new step in the lives of the boys. Dear graduates, you have a strategic advantage over other young people - the Motherland has educated you, accustomed you to discipline and hard work, taught you to live with conscience, truth, and without compromising your soul. This is your strength. In Belarus, much has been done so that the boys could reveal their talents, feel happy and confident about the future," - emphasized the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin.
The head of the region wished the boys to understand their purpose and noted that patriots are needed by the country as never before. Also, Alexander Subbotin, addressing the parents of Vitebsk cadets, asked them not to doubt the correctness of their children's choice.
Cadets together with the school administration and guests planted a memorial alley.
